Freedom and responsibility. We dodged the bullet!

Since 2012 there has been a growing division in this country. Some look upon it as a division between left- and right-wing politics. Some look upon it as a division between good and evil. All look upon it as a division between right and wrong. What I find interesting is that both sides consider themselves to be right and the other folk to be wrong.

The big question is which side will history recognize as right? Some will attempt to say neither – it’s all relative. There is no good or evil. But history doesn’t usually work this way.

The most recent historical examples from last century are Communism/socialism and Nazism (most folk don’t understand that Nazism was national socialism).

Communism and its little brother socialism, claimed to be for the proletariat, the common people. “From each according to their ability and to each according to their need” sounds wonderful but proved to be a complete lie. Millions died from democide last century at the hands of the communists.

Nazism claimed to be the savior of the oppressed German people and was welcomed with open arms. But again, millions died.

Both ideologies denied God, imprisoned their political opponents, claimed that man needed to be freed from Christianity and put big government in the place of God. Government had absolute power, and all things were granted by it.

When we look at the last four years under Biden can we see any similarities? The socialists that had power enacted censorship through their proxies, persecuted Christianity, through lawfare attempted to imprison their political enemies and continually lied accusing their opponents of all the misdeeds that they themselves were committing. All the while quietly building a super-sized government with more ways to suppress the American people than you can shake a stick at.

It was stated that the last election in November of 2024 would make or break the US. If the socialists had won, they would have moved at break-neck speed to permanently rig the elections, imprison conservatives and put Christians in re-education camps.

Luckily for all, including the folk who believed in and voted for the lies of the socialists, sanity prevailed, and a wide coalition of former Republicans, former Democrats, older generations, younger generations, black, brown yellow, white, women and men voted for freedom and responsibility, a Headwing Way movement so to speak. The uniting factor for this wide range of folk was the love of freedom. They recognized the socialist tradition that was under way to take that freedom away from us. This victory of freedom allowed the Constitution of the United States of America to continue being the law of the land.

We won the battle but the war is not yet won as the socialists are fighting tooth and nail to keep all their special interest programs funded and safe. In standard socialist style, twisting the truth and accusing others of their own wrongdoing. But we can see a bright sun rising, filled with hope as a new government of the people and for the people takes control.

God is at the helm, but He cannot and will not override our freedom and responsibility. We must remain vigilant and aware. Check everyone, actively write or call your representatives and keep them accountable. We now have the chance to rebuild America. We cannot let it go to waste!
